On Friday, May 7th the first through fourth grade students and their mothers celebrated Mother's Day in a very special way.  May is traditionally the month to honor Mary, our Blessed Mother, so the afternoon began by crowning an image of Mary with flowers and recitation of the Rosary.  Then the mothers and their children enjoyed some sweet treats and worked on a word search together.  A wonderful time was had by all!
